Altar and Rosary Society

Holy Family's Altar and Rosary Society is an organization of women parishioners who work to provide funds to maintain the altar, repair and replace the sacred vessels, altar cloths, and vestments, and keep the church clean.  We also provide flowers for the church and for special occasions in the parish hall.  We host a reception or luncheon for a bereaved family if they desire it.  We sponsor the monthly Coffee Social, one of Holy Family's main fellowship events.  Each year we adopt a needy family and provide them with a monthly box of groceries and other staples; and we make an annual visit to local nursing homes to bring small gifts and TLC.  Several times a year we attend events for our own growth, such as a Day of Reflection at St Joseph Abbey.

What's the commitment?

We meet monthly, on the second Tuesday, at 10 am.  At our meetings we pray the Rosary and discuss plans and projects.  A pot luck lunch follows the meeting.  Members are asked to support our work with annual dues of $15.
