From the Knights of Columbus
We are honored to once again participate in the Pilgrim Icon Program. This year’s icon is the Sacred Heart of Jesus, a powerful image of Christ’s divine love and mercy.
We are blessed to offer this devotion to our parish community and invite families to consider hosting the icon in their homes as part of a Sacred Heart Enthronement. This is a meaningful way to renew your family’s spiritual foundation and to welcome Christ more intentionally and visibly into your daily life.
If your heart is moved, we encourage you to take part in this beautiful tradition. Many have experienced the grace, peace, and unity it brings into the home.
The Sacred Heart of Jesus Icon will be on display at Holy Family Church on May 25th and 26th, and will be available for family enthronements through May 30th, 2025.

Something Grrrrreat is Coming! Save the Date! Kids of Holy Family ages 5 – 12 are invited to join us this Summer for True North: Trusting Jesus in a Wild World (Totally Catholic Edition) June 23-27th.
Rene and Jan LaBorde have been honored as this year’s St. Louis Medallion recipients for Holy Family Catholic Church! This prestigious award recognizes two of our most self-giving parishioners, and we couldn’t be more thrilled for them.
To celebrate, we invite everyone to join us at the April Coffee Social on Saturday, April 13th. We also encourage all past recipients of the St. Louis Medallion to wear their medals to Mass that weekend and to the coffee social. We will take a group photo of all present and past honorees as a tribute to their dedication and service to our parish community.
Please join us in congratulating Rene and Jan on this well-deserved honor!
Our parish's charitable outreach arm, the Friends of St Francis, find themselves very hard-pressed for funds right now. Utility bills are spiking, leading to many.many.many calls for aid, more than usual! Please be as generous as you're able. To ensure your gift goes where you intend it, **please write your check to Friends of St Francis, NOT to Holy Family.** Thank you for your sacrificial giving.
Fr Pedro is available for Confession every Saturday, 3:30-4:30 pm. If your work schedule conflicts with that time, call the office to schedule an appointment with him: 985-839-4040.
Secure your Holy Family Logo stickers for just $5.00 each, available exclusively in the office. This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your support for our church community.
Rosary 8:30 am / Mass 9 am. Celebrating Saturday as the day of Mary, has been a devotion in the Church for at least 1300 years. Our Lady of Fatima asked the visionaries to pray a five Saturday devotion in reparation for sins against her Immaculate Heart. Specifically, she asks for four actions: (1) go to Confession, (2) receive Communion, (3) recite the Rosary, and (4) meditate 15 minutes on one of the mysteries of the Rosary. You're welcome to take part in the Rosary and Mass even if you don’t want to enter into this devotion. A pamphlet will be available to guide you in fulfilling it. For more on this devotion, visit: www.themostholyrosary.com/appendix2.htm.
